For furniture and clothing, Red is Metalness, Green is AO, Blue is Specular, and Alpha is Roughness to my knowledge. Differences to the final include a lower-poly head, harsher lighting, darker hair, and a slightly brighter sideburn texture. Not only will it let you export the course models, but it will also allow you to view the exact lighting and fog setups used for each map. You'll have to find the raw game files on your own, though.
