The Defect: First Impressions, Guide and Feedback. Hey everyone! Given the general sentiment I have seen these days regarding the new character, I decided to write a small guide with my thoughts and strategic advice on how to play it. I have also included a few comments in the spirit of giving constructive feedback.Ignore all lightning and dark orbs completely. If you got any of -focus cards early - go for it and throw orbs away. If you got +focus, go frost orbs + claws, blizzard, barrage. But that lead me to the case when I have absolutely no skill playing lightning orbs and sometimes my run is doomed from the start. -1.

Generally speaking, large decks are better than small decks vs the Heart due to the many statuses it throws into the draw pile and it allows you to bring more powers into the deck. My winning decks are at 30-42 with defect. Otherwise, there are many borken options that might be available. Ironclad is very strong act 1, so you should try to go for as many elites as you can handle to scale for later with the cards and relics. -if you see reaper, pick it. Reaper is probably the best card to pick in 99% of the cases. Immolate/feed/fiend fire/impervious/offering are also great cards. That will make every Power you cast afterwards channel 3 lightning orbs, thus evoking your first ones, doing damage to the enemies. 3 - Use 4 Biased Cognitions. Your Focus, and thus your damage, will sky rocket.
