There is a small button to adjust the brightness just behind the lens that will adjust the brightness level of the optic. There is no ON/OFF button. First battery lasted a little more than a month, swapped out the battery and sure enough, feels like its been nearly 2 months and bam, out again.... i keep it at the mid to lower settings, not anywhere near the brightest settings, and for a dot that even though its carried and has that motion cut off feature.... battery life is absolutely unacce...
