After all, we drive 45 miles and pass by numerous seafood restaurants on the way to Sandpiper. We always sit in the oyster bar area rather than the restaurant up front. In 20 plus years I have never had a bad meal at Sandpiper.Its not gourmet.It is very fresh seafood with typical restaurant veggies and salad ( iceberg lettuce,couple of cherry tomatoes).The scallops are very small but surprisingly tasty.I like the seafood pasta salad (a Seasonal entree).The staff are nice and attentive.Take out is efficient and relatively fast.If you want a healthy,fast (but ...
