This video shows the start to finish procedure for changing the drive (ground) belt for the John Deere model D130.Install the new belt by fishing it up through that hole in the frame, where you just removed the old belt. Then pull the left side of the belt over and down through the notch in the frame. Route the new belt over the loose steering tie rods, through the guide (17) and onto the upper pulley (27) under the engine.Slide the previously removed bolt through the idler arm adjustment bolt hole from the top side down, and thread the retaining nut onto the bolt by hand. Hold the top of the bolt head with a wrench while tightening the nut on the bottom with a socket wrench. Tightening the transmission drive belt idler arm center bolt locks in the new position.
