I know that the actual patch can go in my sharps box but the applicator part it quite big and I don't think itll fit into my sharps box because really it is only designed for small needles. That means anywhere more than 20 feet away from the sensor, in a place where the transmitter won’t come within range of the sensor for at least 30 minutes. (This step may not be necessary, as your sensor may already be stopped.) Stop the sensor in the Dexcom G6 app. Do this in spite of any warnings that say the sensor will no longer work.
