The Nowthen Threshing Show is a three day event that takes place annually on the third full weekend (Friday through Sunday) in August. Guests can watch history happen by watching corn chopping, blacksmithing, grain threshing, and sawmill demonstrations, or experience historic culture by wandering through the old restored school, church, log buildings, and train depot on the grounds. The very first Threshing Show was held in August of 1971. The Threshermen and Collectors Association was formally organized on December 11, 1974. On October 31, 1975, the members of the Association voted to accept a land gift of 15 acres from Ed and Agnes Sundholm for the development of the "Heritage Site".Ticket Costs: Daily Passes: 3 Day Passes: Individuals - $15.00. Individuals - $25.00. Children 12 and under are FREE. All children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult throughout their visit. Tickets are sold at the gate on the day of the show from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm Friday and Saturday, and 7:00 am to3:30 pm on Sunday.
