The New 2DS XL has more noticable but the same hinge issues like the DS lite and on wards. The New 2DSXL is plastic so it wiggles more the new 3ds& Xl. In my own gametime with it I wasn't bothered by it when playing for hours. Thew New 3ds XL is also plastic...
